Nestory: Your Child's Moments, Their Story

Every little moment
becomes a story.

You already save the photos. Nestory turns them into something you'll actually reread — a written chapter of your child's life, delivered on the last night of every month.

Why we built it

4,000 photos. Almost no memory.

How it works

Save a memory in 30 seconds.
Get a story every month.

No templates to fill in, no prompts to answer, no streak to maintain. You record moments the way you already do — Nestory does the writing.

You do this

Drop in the moment, and let the month pile up.

A few photos and one sentence about what happened — standing in the kitchen, before you forget it. Everything you save stacks onto a timeline, and Nestory reads across the whole month looking for the thread running through it.

Nestory does this

A story arrives, written and waiting.

On the last night of each month, a chapter lands in your library — a title, an opening, chapters, an ending. Four minutes to read, one link to share.

The part that matters

This is what actually shows up.

Other apps hand you a collage with a month printed on it. Nestory writes the month down — in second person, in your family's own specifics, with a beginning and an ending.

"This June, you watched Mia stand at the edge of new things — a tall slide, a full sentence, a box of strawberries — and decide, every single time, to go for it." Opening lines, June 2026

Your family's data

This is a child's life. We treat it that way.

You're about to hand an app years of photographs of your kid. You should know exactly where they go.

Your memories stay yours

Photos and notes are stored encrypted, used for one purpose — writing your stories — and never sold, licensed, or shared with advertisers.

Never used to train models

Your child's photos and your writing are never used to train models — ours or anyone else's. Not now, and not under a future policy update.

Delete it all, any time

Account deletion is in the app, not buried in a support queue. It removes your memories and stories from our servers — permanently.

Questions

Before you sign up

When does Nestory actually launch?

We're targeting the App Store and Google Play later this year. Everyone on the waitlist gets one email the day it goes live — that's the only email we'll send before launch.

When exactly does a story get written?

On the last night of each calendar month, in your local timezone. There's nothing to trigger and nothing to remember. Stories are only ever written for months you spent with Nestory — adding memories from before you joined won't retroactively create a story for those months.

How much do I have to write for this to work?

One or two sentences per moment is plenty. Nestory is designed around what a tired parent will realistically type with one hand — a line about what happened, and the photos you already took. If you skip a week, the story still gets written.

What if the story gets something wrong?

Nestory writes only from the memories you saved, so it can't invent an event that didn't happen. If you spot a mistake, fix the underlying memory and regenerate the month's story — the corrected version replaces the old one.

I have more than one child. How does that work?

Each child gets their own profile and their own story every month, so siblings don't get flattened into one narrative. Free accounts keep one profile active at a time; Premium switches freely between all of them.

What happens to my stories if I cancel?

You keep them. Every story already written stays readable and shareable forever, and all your memories and photos stay in your account. Cancelling only stops new stories from being written.

Can I share a story with grandparents?

Yes — every story has its own link that opens in any browser, no app or account needed on their end.

Can I get my photos and stories out?

Yes. Your original photos are never modified, and you can export or delete everything from inside the app at any time.
